Inside my Kickstarter ~ rewards + reflections

Exploring the benefits of supporting the crowdfunding campaign for the Brand SeasonsĀ® Playdeck + Paper

How do you define value beyond the tangible?

In this solo episode, I take you behind the scenes of my Kickstarter campaign for the Brand SeasonsĀ® Playdeck and Paper, which wraps up on Wednesday, 23rd October.

I share the rewards and benefits you can experience as a backer, from the beautifully designed card deck and thoughtfully curated mini zine, to the more immersive Playgroup, Playdate, and Playday.

Bring the Brand SeasonsĀ® Playdeck to life
Branding can feel like a complex journeyā€”whether you're seeking clarity and direction, aiming to create a cohesive identity, or hoping your narrative truly resonates. When thereā€™s so much to consider, itā€™s understandable that you might feel unsure about how to move forward in an aligned wayā€¦

I also reflect on the challenges of crowdfundingā€”particularly the midway point where things can feel uncertain. This reminds me of the Brand Seasons phase of Substance/Grounding, where the focus is on finding more stability and learning from experience.

Here's what I cover in this episode:

  • An overview of the five main rewards, including the Brand SeasonsĀ® Playdeck and the collaboratively produced This Creative Life ~ A Brand SeasonsĀ® Paper.

  • The deeper benefits of the campaign, such as creative growth, community building, and early access to future products.

  • Reflections on the emotional ups and downs of crowdfunding, the excitement of seeing support come in, and the importance of staying aligned with my values when progress feels slow.

I also invite you to think about the value of backing creative projects like this oneā€”not just for the physical rewards, but for the connections and insights that can be gained along the way.

If youā€™re interested, you can join the conversation in the comments. How do you define value in your own creative projects? And what benefits do you look for when backing indie campaigns?

The Kickstarter campaign to fund the Brand Seasons Playdeck is currently LIVE and ends on Wednesday 23rd September.

Join a wonderful community of backers and support the campaign.

Yes!!! Almost. Havenā€™t checked how things are going today but Iā€™m inching closer. The focus next week is on more immersive offerings like group and 1:1 so my hope is that people will see the value in those and help me get this project over the line!
