I love this seasonality and the parallel to ones projects or work. It makes for a natural process in everything. In my poetry collection, I have been between Sowing and Resting - writing and reflecting, re-rewriting and reflecting. I feel like I’m getting closer to Becoming, sharing a bit more and closer to finding that flow I am undure is there. 🌻

This actually really set things in perspective, making me think differently about the process. Thank you Sarah! 🪷

Beautiful, Nadja! I love that you’ve spotted the ebb and flow between resting and sowing, which highlights that this really isn’t a linear process. Is it ever?! 😅

And I’m excited for your season of ‘becoming’. You know I’m right behind you and ready to read more of your meaningful words 💛

And it took me accepting that it isn’t linear, which made it move forward half a step. 🤭

Thank you so much for support, it really encourages me to share more. 🤍

How beautiful. I love that you’re intentionally setting yourself space and time to nurture these whilst still putting a marker in the sand in the here and now time. So wise!

I’ve got a creative writing summer project to work on so I’m in prep now of how I share, show up in this current season to prep for the next one. I also REALL need to hit my own deadline on a funding app this month.

Oh and it sounds like you’re deep in ‘sowing’ and ‘becoming’ with everything you’re preparing for. Love your energy 🤗💛

It’s a beautiful time to be creating in the world that’s for sure!

I’ve been wondering if momentum might be lost due to the sheer amount of time and space I’m giving myself! But I’m trusting the process. So let’s see. It’s all a learning experience, right?!

It is and I think the more we lean into the seasons the more we learn/ remember? ✨✨✨🪄

I love this too. Slow art and digging down into the cycles of my creativity especially within my body is my priority now. I'm acutely interested in each layer of a work and how I feel about it over time. Instead of always focusing on the end result. And ironically I have begun to create/ paint more! Go figure haha.

You’re in a similar place to me. I’ve just started somatic coaching again as I feel disconnected from my body, in some ways, so tuning back in is a priority, too!

Yes! Just realising that der my body and my creativity are not seperate, and weaving a new practice is so exciting after academic burnout. Ironic that my study was on practice based body-based art haha.

As someone who lives intentionally in alignment with my *feminine cycle* I absolutely love this and can see very clearly the correlation between the two. Thank you for this wonderful piece of work ♥️

So kind, thank you. I’m really excited to carry on developing these ideas and sharing them 🥰💛

I see that I perhaps cycle quite quickly through. I feel like I’m ready for rest and ideation again, but also feeling a summer energy, that I’m excited to get creative once I’ve caught up with myself and got an idea I want to explore 💫 Really interesting, Sarah.

I think this can be applied at micro and macro level! Both to small things like writing a post and big things like launching a business or writing a book. I’d love for this method to help people feel comfortable in their creativity regardless of the stage they’re at. In my work with clients I think there can often be a bit of frustration around the harvesting and resting phases when, really, they’re such great opportunities for celebration and curiosity 💫

This is a beautiful article Sarah. I love the idea seasons in branding - I think I sometimes flip flop between seasons rather than moving through them intentionally. I’m just about to embark on seeding a new idea that I am very excited about so I will be saving this post to help me move through the seasons 💛

Oh I’d love to know if it serves you as you work through that idea! Thanks again for sharing. I feel really passionate about it and it’s interesting (if a little stretchy) to work through it all while I’m in the ‘sowing’ phase of the concept 🌱
